Our Wilson football team had the honor of walking alongside the Jefferson High School football team and CR Band of Blue drumline down to Kingston Stadium tonight. To top off a fun evening, our players were recognized on the track prior to kickoff!

A huge thank you to the Jefferson administration, athletic department, and football coaching staff for welcoming our Wilson squad and making them feel like part of the varsity family.

A “Dine to Donate” Texas Roadhouse fundraising night has been scheduled for Monday, September 14th from 3:00-10:00 pm at Texas Roadhouse, 2425 Edgewood Rd SW.

What a fantastic week welcoming staff and students back at Wilson!

We welcomed our newest Rams at 6th Grade Orientation yesterday. It was great having students back in the halls and classrooms.

A huge shoutout and thank you to Chick-fil-A Westdale for providing delicious sandwiches for our students at the end of orientation! Your generous support made an already exciting day even better, and we are so grateful for community partners who help us care for our school family.

Enjoy a well-deserved weekend. See everyone bright and early on Tuesday for the first day of school!

Wilson Community,

We have been made aware of a rumor that the student-painted ceiling tiles are being thrown away due to the District’s reconfiguration plans. There are no plans to remove or throw them away at this time.

If our plans were to ever change in the future, we will notify the Wilson community and provide opportunities to pick them up. We cannot return them right now because we do not have replacement tiles on a large scale to swap them out.

We are officially back in action!

Our teachers kicked off the year yesterday with an incredible first day of Professional Learning, working to make this school year the best one yet for our students.

A massive THANK YOU to the wonderful team at Van Meter for providing, and grilling, a delicious lunch today. We appreciate your generosity and support!

The community love didn't stop there. A big shoutout and thank you to Hy-Vee and McGrath Auto for providing wonderful food for our families during our Back to School Night! It was so great connecting with everyone as we welcomed our students and parents back to the building.

Now, we are gearing up for the next big event: 6th Grade Orientation tomorrow morning! We can’t wait to welcome our newest middle schoolers and help them find their way around the building. See you tomorrow!
