It's that time again!

Pour into your development and join NALA(STEM) Mentorship Program for the Fall 2023 - Spring 2024 season. Our program provides academic, social, and career guidance to underrepresented minority (URM) students. Mentors will meet regularly, virtually or in-person, with undergraduate students throughout an academic school year to inspire the next generation of STEM scholars and emerging professionals.

Summer Research Internships in Climate and Ocean Science for Undergrad students. Interns are matched with a research project w/in 1 of 9 research themes and work with a CICOES, NOAA, or U Washington scientist at either the UW campus or the NOAA NW Regional Ctr. in Seattle. Stipend $600/wk,travel, housing. Includes research mentorship, work in the lab & field, seminars, guest speakers, presentations, and more.

Students will be paired with an LSAMP alumna/alumnus that shares similar professional goals, interests, and background.
