We’ve received some strange backlash on recent posts on this page.

#1 - Our reveal video was not AI generated. It was created using the Google suite app called Vids. In this program you can use picture files, video files, audio files all together to create your own video. Much like Google Slides, or for you older students, PowerPoint, you have to provide this program the content you want to use, set the timing, type in the text, colors, fonts, blah blah blah. It took over an hour to create the 60 second video that you saw.

#2 - The amount of work that our team goes through to design a show that is exciting for ALL involved, is immense. We could go to a music vendor, buy a stock show, and call it good enough. But we don’t. We painstakingly think and talk through all of it. From the color of the text on the t-shirt to the props on the field. Nothing is left unthought of.

#3 - If you think everything that AI creates is inherently bad, you’re living in the wrong era. AI is a tool. Can it be over used? Yes, just like everything else in this world. But if you automatically think lesser of something because you believe it to be “AI slop” without knowing anything about its creation, you should keep your thoughts to yourself. Someone may have spent precious time on that just to get their kids excited about their fall marching band show.
