Congratulations to Mrs. Sterling, Mr. Dole, AND Ms. Koch on being awarded Harriet Kalinsky Educational Excellence Grants!

Over the weekend, the Archdiocese of Dubuque shared the interim Mass schedule for each pastorate. The schedule will be in effect from July 15, 2026, through January 15, 2027, and will be reviewed throughout that time, with adjustments made as needed.

Many XCS schools celebrate Mass in parishes across all Cedar Rapids pastorates. Below, you will find both the interim Mass schedule and the school Mass schedule for XCS schools that celebrate Mass within these pastorates.

Thank you to 8th grader (now a rising high school freshman!), Ethan Hunt, on offering a poignant message as our student speaker at last night's 8th Grade Recognition Ceremony. Ethan reflected on his semester away from LaSalle Catholic and what it was like to come back.

Following our Year-End Mass this morning, we bid a fond farewell to several amazing individuals who have made an incredible impact here at LaSalle Catholic. Among them is 2nd Grade teacher, Mrs. Cathy Soukup, who will be heading into a very well-deserved retirement after more than three decades of teaching (including 26 years at Holy Family/LaSalle Catholic).

Thank you for the impact you have made on our students over the years, Mrs. Soukup! You will certainly be missed -- and we pray for God's blessing upon you as you begin this next chapter!
