The Viola Gibson Elementary PTA was established during the summer of 2002. Please join us.

Its goal was to successfully combine the parents, students, and teachers of many different schools into a unified community known as Viola Gibson Elementary. Today, our focus is to further develop our ability to involve families in their child's/children's education. We use a CONSENT AGENDA that allows the general PTA membership to make a motion on a group of items all at once if no additional discussion is required. We want to offer an experience that allows parents to be more active in and informed about their children's education and their school. Parent and family involvement has a positive effect on student achievement, behavior, cultural diversity, and school quality.

Hey Gators!! The Gator Gallop is coming up fast, and we wanted to remind everyone that even though Viola Gibson will not be an elementary school next year, any remaining funds at the end of the year will *Follow* *Your* *Children* to their new school! Our fundraising goal of $15,000 will allow us to give our kiddos the right start for PTA support as they get settled in their new school homes next year, while still letting us do some extra special celebrating during our last year as Viola Gibson Elementary. 😊

Future Cougars: It’s Kennedy Homecoming week!! Join the Kennedy community tomorrow (Wednesday) night for the Homecoming Parade!! For more fun this week, the Homecoming football game is Friday evening.

🎶🍝 Dine out Tuesday to support our Kennedy High School vocal music program! 🎶
Tuesday Sept 15 - mention Kennedy Choral League and ask the staff to add your receipt to the KCL envelope. Receipt required to count! Grab lunch or dinner - Noon to 6pm. (Comment below replying to Emily if you need a porch drop yours or to email her your online order receipt).

This fundraiser missed the daily announcements this past week, so please help us spread the word! *Receipts must be turned in to count!!*

They will donate 10% or more, based upon sales. So help us get the word out!!
