It's Kona Ice Day 🍧

1 of 2 new dramatic play kits is ready to join classrooms next week!
Fitness play will join rotations that preschool teachers can check out and switch up play in their rooms. This is a fantastic opportunity and lots of fun new and real items students will get to use and learn about fitness while playing.

It was Touch-A-Truck day at Truman! We can't pull it off without these awesome people in our community. Huge shout out to you all and your willingness to join our event for our preschoolers!
*CRST, CRFD, CRPD, Cedar Rapids City vehicles, P&K Midwest, Linn County Sheriff, and Area Ambulance all in attendance today!

At Truman Early Learning Center, our "little learners" sometimes have very "big feelings." That’s where Dave Wertz steps in! A fellow staff member shared this wonderful tribute to Dave's impact:

"Dave always goes above and beyond for our teachers and students. He has a gift for helping children navigate their emotions and works closely with teachers to find the best solutions for the classroom. Plus, he makes sure our drop-off and pick-up lines flow perfectly! We appreciate you so much, Dave!"
