During Coe College’s upcoming academic year, we’ll celebrate our 175th anniversary! 🎉💛🎆 The excitement will begin the week of August 17, so mark your calendars with these milestones and events:

🍻Our Lion Bridge Brewing Company 175th anniversary beer, Kohawk Classic, will hit Cedar Rapids and other Iowa HyVees in the middle of the week.

🎂 Kohawk Classic was brewed by Lion Bridge, so we’ll celebrate with them Friday, August 21, 4:00 - 6:30 PM with a special beer launch featuring Ian’s Pizza, birthday cake and 175-themed prizes. Register to attend at https://alumni.coe.edu/e/175th-anniversary-kick-off/.

🧢 A 175 pop-up shop will open online August 17. Join the fun by purchasing your own T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, pins and more — we’ll share the link soon.

We can’t wait to welcome Kohawks back to campus for Coe’s 175th anniversary — or, if you prefer, our demisemiseptcentennial. ❤️💛 With classic events like our reunions, Brat ’n’ Bev tent and college district bar crawl, plus new ways to celebrate including a Charlie Kohawk Statue Dedication and an All-Kohawk Concert, this fall weekend is sure to be a success in reminiscing on our past 175 years and looking forward to the next. ✨
