Meet your Student Alumni Association 🧑‍🎓❤️

SAA is a Coe-affiliated club that helps bridge connections between students, alumni and the college to ensure there is a strong network between current students and their predecessors. When you join SAA, you have the opportunity to plan and host events and develop purposeful relationships across and beyond campus.

Some SAA highlights:
🍿 Finals Packs: Twice a year, parents and guardians may purchase finals packs for their student. Each pack comes in a special, reusable Coe container filled with snacks to help students power through finals week.

🔗 Get Coe-nnected: At this event, students mingle with alumni, practice their elevator pitches and answer questions in a networking social style.

🦺 Student Emergency Assistance Fund: Students experiencing unforeseen financial hardship during an emergency or catastrophic event may apply for funds from the SEAF. See expenses covered, eligibility requirements and the application process on the SAA webpage.

⁉️ Student events: SAA’s next event is Kahoot Night on September 22 at 6:00 PM. Enjoy prizes, food and fun in the CJ Lynch Room!

Okay, fine, I’ll share some sneak peeks…

💪 Meet our new life-size Charlie Kohawk statue! He’ll take up residence outside the cafeteria, and we’ll celebrate with a dedication at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 3.

🍺 While our 175th anniversary b**r is still available, Lion Bridge Brewing Company will create a new Homecoming b**r for the special weekend. Check out the design for the b**r label, which will also feature on this year’s Homecoming T-shirts.

🎶 Happy 50th reunion, Collage! To celebrate Coe’s show choir that was founded in 1976, a reception will be held in Dows lobby at 5:30 PM on Friday, October 2.

🎉 This one’s no secret: throughout Homecoming weekend, we’ll be celebrating the 175th anniversary of Coe College by honoring our past and looking forward to our future.
