This prestigious award celebrates chapters that executed all standards required of each chapter and made a positive impact on their campus community. It reflects the outstanding leadership, scholarship and service demonstrated by Mortar Board members on campus.

"Who has opened doors for you?"

Jace Biery ’28, who is interning with IFP Motion Solutions, answered with a tribute to Coe College.

Jace is taking advantage of IgniteCR, a program offered by the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance which adds additional meaningful professional development and community connection experiences for college-aged interns. The program is intended to enhance corporate internship programs and allow a forum of connection among area students.

One of the program components is a competition entitled "Who has opened doors for you?" Participating interns were encouraged to transform their office doors or workspaces into a creative tribute that demonstrates appreciation for a person or place that has positively impacted their professional journey. Jace won the competition with his Coe-themed door.

"I chose Coe as the inspiration for my door because I value the strong support and lasting connections of the Coe alumni community," Jace said.
