We are dedicated to supporting & empowering the spiritual development & exploration of all students so that they can lend a helping hand to create positive change Mount Mercy's Mission & Ministry Area supports the mission and goals of Mount Mercy University, and covers four major offices:
- Mission & Identity
- Campus Ministry
- Service & Volunteerism
- Chaplain services

We offer programs and opportunities for Mount Mercy students, faculty, alumni, and local community members including:

On her deathbed on November 11, 1841, Catherine McAuley famously told the sisters caring for her, "Tell the Sisters to get a good cup of tea... when I am gone, and to comfort one another."

September 24 is the 199th anniversary of when the House of Mercy was opening in Dublin, Ireland and September 29, 1778 was the day Catherine McAuley was born.

Catherine McAuley reminds us that prayer and action belong together. Before we can serve, lead, and care for others, we need moments to rest in God's love.
