Iowa Hall looks a little different today! On May 4, 1975, Iowa Hall was dedicated in conjunction with an all-college open house. More than 3,000 people attended.

More than 100 Kirkwood Nursing, Paramedic, and Respiratory Therapy program students had the opportunity to gain real-world experience Wednesday, during a large-scale emergency response simulation.

Inside Kirkwood’s largest emergency simulation: Students train to save lives More than 100 Kirkwood Community College students stepped into a simulated emergency Wednesday, working alongside local first responders in one of the school’s largest healthcare training exercises.

Formerly named Area 10 Community College, college leaders looked for classroom space wherever they could find it - storefronts, mortuaries, and even health spas!
