We’ve had a great start to summer! So far this week we’ve met Mr Shucks from the Kernels, gone bowling, swimming and watched a magic show.

Congrats to daycare staff Emma, Cora and Carly for graduating from Kennedy HS today.

Miss Marissa visited us today with her baby goat!

There is no other job for the heart that is as powerful, rewarding, and challenging than being a mom. Enjoy the busy days and give yourself grace when you don't think you're doing enough. Don't forget to take care of yourself, too. You are the heart of your family. Here's to wishing all our moms are receiving lots of love, appreciation and rest on this Mothers Day.

Last but not least we want to end the week celebrating our before/after school daycare and staff who help support so many working families in our neighborhood.

Today we’d like to honor Miss Monica, our 3s lead teacher. She is finishing her 2nd yr in this role at Lovely Lane after spending 8 years at our sister preschool, Trinity Lane.

Monica says “Lovely Lane is a special place because both my kids came through the program and now I get to be a part of children's very first learning experience. “

We would like to take a moment to recognize Miss Brenda, Lead Teacher of our 4-year-old class, during Teacher Appreciation Week.

Miss Brenda has been an integral part of the Lovely Lane Preschool community for 5 years. She shares, 'I enjoy teaching at Lovely Lane because of the wonderful children, supportive families, and amazing coworkers. It is rewarding to help children learn and grow. They amaze me every day.'
