Due to forecasted extreme heat on Monday, August 26, 2024, Cedar Rapids Community School District will have an early dismissal:
▪️ High school and middle school students will be dismissed at 10:50 AM
▪️ Elementary school students will be dismissed at 11:50 AM
Lunch will be served to all students before dismissal. Please send a water bottle with your student to help them stay hydrated.
Any updates about high school and middle school practices or activities will be communicated directly from your student’s school. Thank you for your understanding and stay cool!

CRCSD will once again offer FREE student meals over the summer. These meals help ensure kids can still get the nutritious food they may need even when school is closed. These meals are FREE and available to children 18 years of age and younger. Meal locations will rotate around the district and community throughout the summer. What a way to wrap up the last school year ever at Arthur Elementary!!!

We couldn’t have a traditional field day, so we made the best of our circumstances and our amazing PTA got us a FOAM day along with our specials staff planning some additional water/bubbles activities!

Who knew FOAM could be so fun?!?! The joy on all of their faces and squealing in their voices was truly amazing!

Thank you PTA!!! What an awesome celebration!

Team Trailside Day was a huge success!

Today K-4 Arthur and Garfield students transitioning to Trailside had the opportunity to come together and meet one another! They did three rotations and met many of the Trailside staff, looked at the new building from afar and drew pictures of the building, and met some of their grade level classmates!

The weather held off and made for a fantastic day!
