We’re slowing it down tonight at DanceMor Ballroom with a new line dance lesson. This was the second most voted on song in my poll a couple of weeks ago, so I thought I’d bring it to the dance floor.

Doors open at 6:30pm. $5 Admission. All Ages welcome. Lesson begins at 7:30pm. All social dancing by request.

Lots of line dancing on tap this week! And, Saturday Night Mixers are back!

What can you expect at each venue? I get asked this quite often, so here is a breakdown:

Wednesday night at DanceMor - Beginner to Improver level lessons. (ONE Lesson) Social dancing of all levels.

Thursday night at DanceMor - Beginner to Intermediate level lessons (TWO lessons). Social dancing of all levels.

Friday night at Hazzard - primarily Intermediate to Advanced level lessons but will teach beginner lessons if beginners attend. Social dancing of all levels.

Saturday Night Mixer - One Partner lesson (level varies) and One Line Dance lesson (typically beginner). Social dancing of all levels.

Too many people like to pigeon hole line dancing as “Country Line Dancing” when its origins were never country to begin with. And the beautiful thing about line dancing is it has multitudes of styles and music to choose from. If you limit yourself to just one “style,” you’re missing out on way too much as a line dancer.

Ok, off my soap box now. TONIGHT, I’m bringing Catalan Line Dancing to DanceMor Ballroom, and I am SO EXCITED to teach it and for you to dance it!

Doors open at 6:30pm. $5 cover. All ages welcome.

Tonight’s lessons:

7:30pm: Been By Now (Review, Beginner)
8:30pm: La Cantera (New, Easy Intermediate Catalan)
