MMUANS

MMUANS is a student led organization that works to serve its community, while inspiring Mount Mercy students to explore what all nursing has to offer.

MMUANS works to help bridge the gap between nursing education and the nursing profession. During each monthly meeting, we have announcements and guest speakers (usually nurses) who understand the demands of nursing school and give great insight for nursing students. The meetings serve as a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about the vast opportunities in the nursing field!

Last week, 6 of our members represented us at the NSNA conference in Houston! Some highlights from the trip include:
- Networking opportunities with other nursing students, colleges, & specialties
- Expert NCLEX prep and study tips
- Insights into becoming a WOCNCB

Also, a massive thank you to Lydia, one of our amazing advisors, for coming with us on this trip!
