Work on our new Wellness/Recreation Center is wrapping up. Our grand opening is on June 7. Can hardly wait!
An MMU trustee since 1988, John Rinderknecht has continued his generous support for Mount Mercy with a transformational gift to renovate the Rinderknecht Athletic Center. The center will be a vibrant and compelling wellness complement to MMU’s newly completed outdoor Robert W. Plaster Athletic Complex. This is how I see it. Before a player there´s someone´s son, daughter, that a family gives the responsibility to any program/coach/university to help grow in today´s world. One of our student-athletes father, flew to Cedar Rapids to make a surprise to his son and was extremely happy that in two months only he has already matured and understands his responsibilities and consequences of his actions. Thank you Amir Hadzic for being a part of this and all other young men growth!

Lots of fun this weekend during the "evolve" event in the NewBo neighborhood of Cedar Rapids.

Enjoy food, music, and dance from 10 Asian countries at the McGrath Amphitheater on Saturday. MMU alumna and radio personality Jenny Valliere will emcee the event. Admission is free and food vendors are reasonably priced.

MMU junior Lauren Graziano spent spring semester 2018 studying in Viterbo, Italy and exploring Europe. The highlight of her experience was " experiencing the beauty of Italian culture in a medieval city..untouched by tourism. I was able to learn and practice the Italian language and customs inside and outside the classroom"
