It’s Grant Wood’s birthday! He was born in 1891, near Anamosa, so he was 20 or so years old when he did this watercolor of a stork (1910) which is on display in the Stewart Memorial Library’s Perrine Gallery at Coe College. Gift of Jeanette Ringland.

Monday, March 31 in the CHS Lobby!
