We love to look back and see moments filled with learning, laughter, exploration, and lots of fun! Our classrooms stayed busy building early literacy and math skills, exploring with hands-on activities, enjoying outdoor play, and making new discoveries every day.

Today was made even more special as we welcomed Tippi Toes Iowa City for an exciting dance class! 💃🕺 Our children had so much fun moving, dancing, and expressing themselves through music. 📚🌞 We’re excited to be participating in the Cedar Rapids Public Library Summer Reading Challenge once again!

Our Pre-K classroom has been helping us log reading minutes each day during their dedicated reading exploration time. Whether they’re independently looking through books, retelling stories, or reading with a teacher, every minute spent with a book helps build early literacy skills and a lifelong love of reading.

We’re proud to take part in such a wonderful program that goes right along with our mission of encouraging our youngest readers to explore new stories all summer long. We can’t wait to see how many reading minutes we can collect together! 📖💙

🌟 Our preschool room is intentionally creating opportunities for creativity, exploration, and early academic and social skill exposure every day!

At the preschool age, learning is about introducing foundational concepts through fun, hands-on, engaging experiences. Whether children are exploring letters and sounds, practicing early writing, looking for bugs together by discovering science and nature, creating art, or building friendships through play, they’re gaining meaningful exposure to the skills they’ll continue developing in kindergarten and beyond.

By making learning fun, purposeful, and developmentally appropriate, we’re helping our preschoolers build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning—one experience at a time. 💙📚🎨🌿
