As we end this school year today, we want to congratulate Mrs. White, our Choir and Musical Director, who will be retiring after 40 years of teaching, and 3 years at RCCBA.
You have poured your heart and soul into our school, leaving a great legacy behind, and big shoes to fill.
You will be missed dearly.

Congratulations to the 2026 Kennedy Daybreak Rotary Service Above Self recipient, Samuel Sanders-Licher. Sam will be donating his award to Chain Reaction, an organization that supports cycling for all in Cedar Rapids!

Yesterday, Mr. Calderon and his Roosevelt Band and Orchestra students traveled to Harrison @ Madison, Hoover, and Cleveland Elementary schools to lead instrument tryouts for 5th graders who will be joining us next year.
We are so proud of the professionalism our students showed while working with the younger kids. And judging by all the smiles walking out the door, we think the 5th graders had a pretty great time too!
