This spring, our kindergarten students got a firsthand look at God's incredible creation through a baby chick hatching project!
Thanks to the Linn County 4-H Extension program, our students were able to experience every stage of the process. The program provided fertilized eggs and all the equipment needed to incubate, candle, hatch, and begin raising the chicks. Along the way, students observed the development of new life, asked questions, and learned through hands-on discovery.
The fun doesn't stop here! Our chicks will be featured in the petting zoo at the Linn County Fair in Central City from June 24–28. If you're attending the fair, be sure to stop by and say hello to some familiar feathered friends!

At Isaac Newton Christian Academy, we believe learning doesn’t stop at graduation—it’s a lifelong pursuit for both students and staff.
On Friday, May 8, our faculty and administration dedicated the day to meaningful professional development centered on spiritual formation. Together, we explored our spiritual formation assessment data, seeking to better understand how we can continue cultivating an environment where students grow in their faith, character, and relationship with Christ.
This work is an important part of our mission of developing Christlike character and academic excellence. We are grateful for opportunities to reflect, learn, and strengthen our partnership with families as we equip students to know, love, and follow Jesus.
Parents, keep an eye on your inboxes! More information about the spiritual formation assessment will be coming soon.

🔎 For this FInd Out Friday, we wanted to help you learn about one of the most important aspects of Christian education: mentorship.
When you visit Newton's Blog, you'll discover how some of the most meaningful lessons happen beyond textbooks and assignments. Through everyday conversations, encouragement, prayer, and Christ-centered relationships, Isaac Newton teachers have the opportunity to walk alongside students during some of the most formative years of their lives.

Isaac Newton Upper School students put the scientific method into action as they designed, built, and launched their own rockets! 🚀
At Isaac Newton Christian Academy, learning goes beyond textbooks. Through hands-on experiences like this rocket challenge, students test hypotheses, solve real-world problems, and discover how God designed the world to operate.
From planning and construction to launch and observation, students used both their hands and minds to explore the principles of physics and engineering—making learning memorable, meaningful, and fun.

🔎 it's Find Out Friday!
For this Find Out Friday, we wanted to look back on the last High Five Friday of the 2025/2026 school year. High Five Friday is a longstanding tradition in the Isaac Newton community. Every Friday faculty, staff, and more recently Upper School students greet their peers with a giant high five before the day begins.
