Be sure to come to Lumberjack Fest tonight at 6:00 in Upper Gage! We'll be auctioning off beards, making pancakes, and playing Lumberjack games until 8:00 pm. All earnings go toward our philanthropy, SeriousFun, which provides children with debilitating diseases and terminal illnesses the opportunity to be kids again by sending them to specialized summer camps. Ben is a Junior majoring in Communications. Outside of Phi Tau, Ben is involved in the Kohawk Cross Country and Track teams.

Ben is amphibious.
Ben annually attends the Kentucky Derby and believes horses are the most majestic beasts to walk the Earth since the Giant Sloth.
Ben was born without the big toe on his left foot and thus has trouble balancing.
Ben's ideal first date is taking a girl to a Hootie and the Blowfish concert.
Ben's favorite movie is Racing Stripes, and he watches it for motivation before every race.
Ben is fond of cold porridge.

Ben Sagers

Hometown: Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Ben is a Junior majoring in Economics with a minor in Mathematics. Within Phi Kappa Tau, he holds the position of Treasurer. He's involved in several organizations on campus, including Phi Kappa Tau, IFC, and Student Senate.

Fun Facts about Ben:

Ben's favorite dinosaur is a Tsintaosaurus.

Ben's ideal first date is attending a presidential debate or sitting in on a lecture by one of the world's most renowned mathematicians.

Ben can solve a Rubix's Cube with his toes and only his toes. He lacks the dexterity in his fingers.

One of Ben's favorite hobbies is collecting stuffed animals and naming them after famous economists. He's particularly fond of his plush iguana, Keynesian.

D.J. "Got Us Fallin' In Love" Stanec

Hometown: Colorado Springs, Colorado

D.J. is a Junior pursuing a major in Communications and a minor in History. He's an avid hockey and lacrosse fan and is involved in several organizations across campus, including Phi Kappa Tau, Lacrosse Club, and the Admission's office.

Fun facts about DJ:

He doesn't like turtles.

One of DJ's favorite hobbies involves lathering himself with butter and sliding around like a slug.

He has a fear of Emperor Penguins and doesn't believe the movie Happy Feet is appropriate for children.

DJ has a lot of imaginary friends that respond to the name Carl.

We've enjoyed seeing DJ blossom as a student and a member of Phi Tau and look forward to his contributions to our community in the future.

Andrew Koehler

Hometown: Wichita, Kansas

Current Position: Recruitment Chair

Andrew is a Senior majoring in both Chemistry and Physics. Andrew is involved in a variety of organizations on campus, including Coe Swimming and Diving, Student Senate, and Phi Kappa Tau.

Fun facts about Andrew:

He eats the whole apple.

He's a world-class spin doctor.

Andrew's favorite dinosaur is a Micropachycephalosaurus.

He is known for his love of flash mobs and hopes to one day become the Guinness Book of World Records record holder for the longest sustained flash mob set to the song "Cheeseburger in Paradise".

Andrew is fond of marsupials and often tries to hoard them in his apartment.

Andrew has done a phenomenal job as our Recruitment Chair thus far and we're excited to see what the future has in store for him.

BROTHERHOOD PROFILE: JONATHON SPRAGUE
Hometown: Naperville, Illinois
Major(s): Pre-Med
Jon is a senior currently serving as Vice President of our chapter and has played an important role in both establishing relations with philanthropic organizations and keeping track of our treasure while he served as Treasurer on our Executive Board last year.

Jon prefers going by the name 'Tiki' and enjoys a good pair of slacks.

Fun facts about Jon:

Jon is a fan of both Nickelback and Creed, noting that he "appreciates underappreciated artists" and that both bands "speak to him".

Jon dabbled with a career in retrieving golf balls from Florida Golf Course water hazards, but retired early on in order to pursue his dream of sending various species of honeybees to space.

Jon's ideal first date is taking a girl to flower patch and explaining to her the pollinating process of the honeybees he hopes to one day send into space.

Though he vehemently denies it, Jon has an extensive knowledge of the Encyclopedia Britannica.

Jon has an incredible work ethic and is a superb role model for everyone in our chapter. He has truly raised the bar and we're all grateful for his contributions to our chapter.

Austin is a senior majoring in Economics with a minor in Political Science. Outside of the classroom, Austin is a member of both the Kohawk Cross Country Team and the Kohawk Track and Field squad.

His hands are disproportionately small compared to the rest of his body.
His ideal first date is taking a girl to an apple orchard and smashing all the apples she picks.
Austin's favorite dinosaur is a Liopleurodon, as he finds them "graceful" and "misunderstood".

Austin is a valuable member of our fraternity and his goofy demeanor is matched only by his wit and desire to help others.
