Crest Library and Technology

In computer lab this week all of my second through 4th graders are exploring a rube Goldberg mix. They are doing this all independently or with collaborative help from their elbow partners. They are honing their navigation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

All of the grade levels in computer lab and library this week explored coding before break.

Mrs. DeWitte’s fourth grade class continued to learn about coding today in computer lab. They practiced sequencing, looping and debugging in Dance Party: AI edition.

Ms. Spicher’s 3rd grade class is working on their technology tech skills today. They are exploring a fall mix on Symbaloo that gives them practice with trackpad control, typing, and navigation skills.

Ms. Noggle’s 4th grade class learned about artificial intelligence and some of its current applications in computer lab today.

First graders have been exploring I Can Read books in the library tho last two weeks. They have also been practicing identifying characters and setting in a story. They are doing great!

All student shoppers must be accompanied by an adult.

If you are coming for parent pick up and want to go to the book fair, you can park in the new lot and come into the office. The book fair will be open starting at 3:45.

Mrs. Hayes kindergarten class got to work in fuzz bugs today. They are learning to count sort and compare!
