Save the date! We are bringing Make Music Day to Cedar Rapids for the first time as a citywide celebration on June 21.

Make Music Cedar Rapids is part of the global Make Music Day holiday, which takes place in more than 1,000 cities worldwide. Musicians and non-musicians of all ages and experience levels are invited to perform in parks, on porches, inside local businesses, and throughout downtown and neighborhood districts. All performances will be free and open to the public. There are no tickets, no central stage, and no headliners; instead, the celebration simply features live music happening everywhere.

Anyone can perform, and anyone can host. Musicians of all ages and experience levels can sign up to play, and businesses, organizations, and residents can offer a space for performances. Learn more and get involved at https://makemusicday.org/cedarrapids

We're looking for a strong vocalist to join a teen rock band.
Rock Academy is home to 8 youth rock bands at Eastern Iowa Arts Academy. Students choose their own songs, rehearse together under professional guidance, play gigs in the community, and record in our recording studio.
