It's been awhile since we checked in. Some things have changed. We moved the studio into Rachel's home and found out that everyone was really excited to have us come to them, instead of the other way around! We've been doing private lessons that way, heading to you to show you how to use the machines you've always wanted to know how to use! Sewing machines, Cricut, heat press, even Photoshop! It's been working out famously! We also decided to start doing more production to sell the things that have always sold well, like sensory items (in the video). Sensory items can be any shape, any size. They range from keychains and bookmarks to 26 inch pillows and stuffys as big as a three year old. They are a tool for neurodivergent people who become overstimulated helping them to be able to focus and calm themselves. We have decided to sell these at NewBo starting weekends in March. We love to personalize them with whatever textiles, colors, patterns, etc you want them to be! Just get in touch if you would like to talk about getting one made, or come see us at NewBo starting in March! We can even print your pictures on the fabric!!!!!!

Here I sit, a little sad, very disheveled. I am cleaning out the last of what is left at Threads today to move out to its new home at my house.
I am sad because Threads was everything I wanted it to be at this location. It was a fun, messy, creative community of people who loved to learn and share. I'm going to miss that community, but I know it's still there and I know it will still be there for me when I am able to open another location with the same vibe.
For now there will be private lessons taught from my home. All my educators are on board, nothing will change there. For that I am grateful. Group classes and parties will have a different feel. We will be out in public for those at a resturant, bar, coffee house, etc. It will still be all the fun, just not all the mess!
Thank you so for helping me with this transition. On the 26th I leave for a vacation, back on the 6th, then Threads opens back up at my house! I'm excited!!

Threads is turning 2, and we're going through some changes!!
We can't afford to stay in our space anymore. Yes, this is sad, but don't worry! We will be doing private lessons out of Rachel's house! We're setting up the entire studio IN HER LIVING ROOM! We will still have all things arts, crafts, hobby, and sewing at her home, and we still have our same educators.
Classes? Of course we are still going to do classes! Just not at Rachel's house! We have offers from places around town to hold events! Both public and PRIVATE events!! That's right, we can still have ALL THE FUN!!!!

This is my pup, Potato. This Sunday Open Studio will NOT be happening, instead we (including Potato) will be supporting some special pups who need a home! We hope to see you there!!!!
