We had some anglers seriously get after it this month.
1st place and Longest Bass: Brycen with a bag of 92.5” and longest bass at 19.75”
2nd place: Reed with 92.25”
3rd place: Gavin with 83.75”

HS 1st place: Peyton & Tristen with 10.79 lbs
HS 2nd place: Reed & Brycen with 10.31 lbs
HS 3rd place: Kayden & Elijah with 10.26 lbs

Jr 1st place: Aiden & Andrew with 5.04 lbs
Jr 2nd place: Finn & Fisher with 3.42 lbs

Despite a lightning delay, we were able to get a full day of fishing, and saw some incredible fish caught. We also got to demonstrate our new trailer setup, which will really upgrade our weigh-ins! Congratulations to all anglers who fished yesterday!

🏆 Several PFT teams competed this weekend at the 2026 Iowa High School Bass Team Championship on Lake Macbride on Saturday. Several walked away with some new hardware!
Team total: 23.49 pounds of fish for first place (tied for weight with Cedar Falls)
2nd place team finish: Nolan and Max with 13.01 lbs
3rd Place team finish: Justice and Warner with 10.48 lbs
Biggest Bass: Warner (tied) - 4.34 lbs
