Leander ISD Transportation Registration is now open for the 2026-27 school year. Every year, all eligible riders (general and special education) who will use transportation are required to register to ride.

We are excited to celebrate our Cox Comets who earned a spot on this year’s Bluebonnet Extravaganza Team! These dedicated readers went above and beyond by reading eight or more books from the Texas Bluebonnet Award list and submitting a written summary for each one. What an incredible accomplishment!

This afterboon these students gathered at Reed Elementary alongside readers from neighboring campuses for a fun-filled afternoon of trivia, a bookmark exchange, snacks, a craft, and a photo booth. It was a wonderful celebration of reading, and our Comets represented Cox with enthusiasm and pride.

Cox Comets 2nd–5th graders voted and they think the Seahawks will win the Super Bowl LX against the Patriots this Sunday. 🏈

STEM Night was a huge success, with more than 140 students and family members jumping into the Three Little Pigs challenge. It was great to see everyone collaborating, problem-solving, and testing their designs to build a home that could withstand a five-second windstorm.

Happy 101st Day of School! We loved seeing all of the little Dalmatians running around the building.
