Aldea verde is a Spanish immersion pre-school with a love for the planet and its diversity. Aldea verde gets its name from the Spanish word “Aldea” which means Village or small town and “Verde” which means “Green”, the color of leaves, the color we wish it would be in the future for our kids. Our curriculum takes advantage of a child’s natural curiosity and sense of exploration to discover all that goes on around them.

Three beautiful things happened today at AV 🌳
-We finished our amazing backdrop for the EOY celebration.
-All of the Tormentas got to climb our tree together.
-Teachers and families gathered to watch “The End of a Beautiful Journey” ..a video full of happy memories…loved it!

We felt so honored to welcome our real-life legends to Aldea Verde for a special picnic celebration. Seeing the joy and excitement on our student's faces as they shared this moment with their mom was unforgettable.

When children design their own playground, they become little engineers, problem-solvers, and creators. They test ideas, take risks, and figure out what works (and what doesn’t). A simple plank becomes a bridge, a ramp, a seesaw, whatever their imagination decides.
Through this kind of risky play, children are learning so much more than we can see at first glance:
How to work together
How to take turns and listen to each other
How to solve problems and try again
How to think outside the box and trust their ideas
They build confidence, resilience, and creativity all while having fun.
