Aldea Verde School Aldea verde is a Spanish immersion preschool in Cedar Park Texas with a love for the planet and its diversity.

Aldea verde is a Spanish immersion pre-school with a love for the planet and its diversity. Aldea verde gets its name from the Spanish word “Aldea” which means Village or small town and “Verde” which means “Green”, the color of leaves, the color we wish it would be in the future for our kids. Our curriculum takes advantage of a child’s natural curiosity and sense of exploration to discover all that goes on around them.

One of the wonderful things about spending our days outdoors surrounded by oak trees is that we get to observe the changing seasons firsthand.

Fall brings to our backyard lots of acorns, and our students find so many ways to explore them! We use them to count, create art, compare sizes, and estimate quantities. They also love discovering the tiny holes in some acorns, where aninsect has made its way out. With mallets in hand, our students smash acorns to investigate what’s inside and search for insect eggs and larvae.

We feel so fortunate to have a backyard that offers meaningful opportunities for math, science, creativity, and discovery, mess and fun.

🇲🇽 ¡Viva México! 🇲🇽

We had an amazing Fiesta Mexicana! Our children showed so much talent, enthusiasm, and love for a different culture and language. ❤️

Having all our families together to celebrate Mexico, diversity, culture, and community was such a beautiful experience. Seeing our children participate with so much excitement made the celebration even more special.

Thank you to our beautiful Aldea Verde families for all your help, your support, and, of course, for sharing such amazing food! 🌮🫔❤️

These are the moments that remind us how special our community is.

¡Viva México! 🇲🇽
¡Viva la diversidad! 🌎
