We will be hosting our annual grade-level meetings for our students next week during Ranger Time, from 9:45 - 10:15. These meetings are for students only, but we will share the info afterwards. Sub-campus students should go to their assigned campus and can review the meeting information when it is sent out.

Monday 8/24: 12th grade
Tuesday 8/25: 11th grade
Wednesday 8/26: 10th grade
Thursday: 8/27: 9th grade

Please note that 11th and 12th graders with AM off periods are required in attendance for these meetings.

On Monday, August 24, VRHS will host our annual Open House event from 6-8pm. This will provide an opportunity for families to meet their student's teachers and check out the campus. At the event families will follow their student's schedules. We will not be providing printed copies of schedules, so please have your child's schedule handy prior to arrival. The CSBPC, composed of teachers, professionals, parents, and members of the community, provides input directly to the principal in a variety of areas as a valuable part of the school improvement process. Sophomore and VRHS Twirler, Hailey Wood, competed in the International Baton Twirling Federation's World Championship Qualifiers earlier this month and has officially earned her spot on Team USA 2027! Next August Hailey will be competing in Liverpool, England, representing the United States in four events at the IBTF World Technical Championship & Nations Cup competition: Elite Twirl Team, Artistic Group, Junior A Two Baton, & Junior A Duet. This will be Hailey's third time as a member of the USA Twirling Team, and in summer 2025 she earned a Bronze Medal at the Nations Cup in Turin, Italy in the Junior A X-Strut.

At Vista Ridge High School, our teachers and staff dedicate their planning time to collaborating, designing engaging lessons, and finding new ways to support our students alongside their Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). To show our appreciation and keep their energy high, we are asking our amazing community to help us stock the PLC room with snacks and drinks for our teachers!

If you would like to contribute, simply choose an item to donate and drop off your items at the VRHS front office. Please label all donations as for the PLC Room. We are asking for donations by September 18th that we will use to stock the room during the Fall semester.

Every single contribution, big or small, helps fuel the incredible teams that take care of our students every day. Thank you so much for your generosity and support! Go Rangers!

Rally at the Ridge, Time Change!

VR Community,
Out of an abundance of caution for our athletes and performers, we are moving back the community Rally at the Ridge Pep Rally to start at 7:30 pm tonight at Gupton Stadium. We encourage spectators to show up no earlier than 6:45.

Our trainers will have extra water, misters, and a cooling station on the field for participants. We encourage spectators to bring water and wear appropriate clothing and hats.
