🏆Congratulations to Vihaan K. for a remarkable achievement at the National Civics Bee Regional Competition! 🇺🇲 Vihaan won first place and the title of Regional Champion.

Competing against middle school students from across the region, Vihaan demonstrated exceptional knowledge and composure during a high-pressure live civics quiz and formal Q&A session before a panel of expert judges.

📚Vihaan was the youngest competitor in the event, showcasing an extraordinary understanding of civic responsibility, community leadership, and American government.

We are proud to celebrate BASIS Cedar Park student Advik M. for his outstanding performance at the XV Campeonato Panamericano U7–U17 de Ajedrez 2026 (Pan American Youth Chess Championship) held in El Salvador.

🇺🇸 Representing the United States, Texas, and BASIS Cedar Park, Advik competed against some of the top young chess players from across the Americas and delivered an exceptional performance in multiple tournament formats.

🏆 Tournament Highlights:
♟️ Silver Medal – Rapid (10+5), U11 Absolute 🥈
♟️ Silver Medal – Blitz (3+2), U11 Absolute 🥈
♟️ Tied for 4th Place (11th Place Individual) in the U13 Classical category while competing above his age group

Competing against nearly 1,300 students from across the country, the BASIS Cedar Park team earned an outstanding 3rd Place Team Finish in the K–8 U1100 section under the guidance of BASIS Cedar Park Chess Club Coach Mr. Bryon Poe.

🏆 Congratulations to Karma G, who won the Hall of Fame award at the National Mathematics Pentathlon Tournament '26!

Karma achieved this honor among 464 pentathletes across division-3 in Austin and the surrounding area. He demonstrated his problem solving skills and determination winning the highest level of achievement recognized by the tournament! 🔢🏅

🎉🐝 Congratulations to our superstar eighth-grade spellers from BASIS Chandler and BASIS Cedar Park!

Esha M. and Sreeyansh P. showcased incredible perseverance and talent as they spelled their way all the way to Washington, D.C. to compete in the 2026 Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Throughout the season, every team member demonstrated tremendous growth, dedication, and perseverance, and each student proudly brought home a national medal. 🏅 Even more impressively, 10 of our students, including two trial event competitors, earned the prestigious title of National Champion in their respective events!
