IMPORTANT- STUDENT INFORMATION NEEDED
I hope that you and your family are safe and recovering quickly from the storms. This is not the ideal way to start a school year but we are working to keep it as smooth as possible under the circumstances. Please see the important information below and complete the Google Form to help your child have a great first day of school. (The submission of the Google Form is absolutely imperative.)
As you likely know, all Hanover school buildings have had electricity and internet restored. The corporation is continuing the tentative plan for the first school day being on Monday, August 17.
Our Back-to-School Night is being rescheduled for Monday, August 17 from 5:30-7:00 PM for all students in grades K, 1 & 2.
Normally, we collect a Gold Note for your child at Back-to-School Night. With the delay of school we want to collect this important information needed before the first day of school to help ensure your child arrives home safely following the correct dismissal routine. Please complete the Google Form no later than Friday, August 14 @2:00PM. Again, this is so we know how your child is to go home from school.
If you have not done so already, please fill out this Google Form no later than Friday, 8/14 at 2:00 PM. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf-3jWSIEgDWlrIwjGolslnE85xoP49JDunMDwm_c18J_esuA/viewform
Additionally, if you are able, especially kindergarten parents, please place a piece of paper, Post-It, sticker, etc. on your child's shirt on the first day of school to help us with knowing their name and their teacher's name. It is not uncommon for our young 5 year old students to forget their teacher's name when they walk in the building.
To provide as much help as possible, our kindergarten teachers have made arrangements to be at Lincoln tomorrow, August 14 from 9:00AM-12:00PM. If you are able, we invite kindergarten students and parents to come into the building to drop off school supplies, see the classroom, and meet the teacher. Teachers will also be able to provide some quick pieces of information to help with the first day. This is intended as a quick stop-in and kindergarten teachers will still hold Back-to-School night where they can provide more information.
Thank you,
Mr. Zaremba
