On April 1, 2026, the Cedar Hill High School Counseling Team hosted an all boys assembly with guest speaker, Dr. Randy Moore.
Dr. Randy Moore’s life is a testament to the fact that your starting point does not define your destination. Growing up, Dr. Moore faced obstacles that would have sidelined most: he came from nothing, experienced the pain of hunger, and navigated a path that nearly led to incarceration.
Searching for direction, he joined the military, a move that provided the discipline and purpose he needed. He didn't stop there. He channeled that drive into education, eventually graduating from medical school. Today, he is a healer and a mentor, proving that resilience is the bridge between "where you are" and "where you want to be."
The culmination of the day was more than just a lesson in fashion. It was a lesson in brotherhood. Every young man received his own personal tie. Under the guidance of Dr. Moore, the men of All Pro Dads, our dedicated teachers, and administrators, the students learned the art of the knot.
The room was filled with an "epic" sense of camaraderie as students helped one another, and mentors stood side-by-side with the next generation. It was a visual representation of Dr. Moore’s mission: we are all "in each other's shadows," responsible for lifting one another up.
