Waterford Oaks Elementary is undergoing a complete renovation, thanks to the 2024 Bond program. In the meantime, WOE will temporarily relocate to the JoLynn Maddox Teaching & Learning Center, 1533 High Pointe Lane, for the 2026-27 school year.

Cedar Hill ISD officially introduced Dr. Trevena Nelson as the new Principal of Collegiate Academy & High School during this week's regular Board of Trustees meeting.

Dr. Nelson's appointment is a full-circle moment. She helped open Collegiate Prep Elementary as an assistant principal 11 years ago and has since served Cedar Hill ISD in a variety of leadership roles, including principal of Waterford Oaks Elementary, associate principal at Collegiate Academy & High School and Cedar Hill High School, and most recently, principal of Plummer Elementary.

With a passion for college readiness and a deep commitment to student success, Dr. Nelson is excited to return to Collegiate Academy & High School to lead the next generation of Longhorn scholars.
