With heavy hearts, we invite our Cedar Hill family, friends, alumni, and community to join us as we honor and remember the beautiful life of Alexzandria Moore.

Alex touched the lives of so many through her kindness, bright smile, and the joy she brought to those around her. While her time with us was far too short, her impact will never be forgotten.

Please join us for a Candlelight Vigil as we come together to celebrate her life, support one another, and remind her family that they are surrounded by love.

Before every show, there are the performers in the spotlight and the people working quietly behind the scenes to make the magic happen. Alex was one of those people who did both.

She had the kind of spirit every theatre department hopes for. A genuine “How can I help?” attitude, a welcoming smile, and a heart that made everyone feel like they belonged. Whether she was on stage, backstage, or simply encouraging those around her, she showed up with kindness, selflessness, and a willingness to do whatever was needed.

Our stage will feel a little emptier without her. Our rehearsals won’t sound quite the same. But the example she set of serving others and making everyone feel welcome will remain part of Troupe 2969.

Thank you, Alex, for every laugh, every helping hand, every smile, and every moment you shared with us. You were an important part of our Red Army Thespian family, and your presence will be deeply missed.

Take your final bow, sweet girl. We promise to carry your light with us every time the curtain rises.

Please join us in congratulating the student leaders who will serve as the officers of Troupe 2969 for the 2026-2027 school year!

These students have demonstrated exceptional leadership and a commitment to serving our theatre family. We are excited to see how they will continue to grow our program and inspire those around them in the coming year.

Trent, thank you for sticking with us through our Tech Theatre classes and for always being willing to help make sure things were finished and running smoothly. Behind every successful production are people willing to put in the hard work to get the job done, and we are grateful for the role you played in helping our department operate successfully.

Your willingness to jump in, help where needed, and see projects through to completion did not go unnoticed. Theatre takes teamwork both on and off the stage, and your contributions helped make that possible.

Lathan has been such a fun and unforgettable part of our theatre family. Goofy, full of life, and carrying a genuinely good heart, he has brought laughter, energy, and positivity everywhere he goes.

One of the best things about Lathan is his ability to make people smile and keep spirits high while still being someone others can count on. Although… getting him to actually stay in class sometimes may have been one of our greatest theatrical challenges. 😂

His personality has made a lasting impact on our department, and our theatre family would not have been the same without him.

JVion came to us as a junior and immediately burst through the doors like the Kool-Aid Man with his energy, personality, and larger than life presence and honestly, we have loved every minute of it! 😂There has truly never been a dull moment with JVion around.
