Our VA-approved course gives eligible veterans an opportunity to become EMTs and intern at TriState Medical Group with a first year salary range of $77K-$94K with VA financial support. New Quarter - New Stats!

Fiscal year for OEMS ended 06/30/24 and we concluded with a 91% first-time pass rate. That's an improvement over last year's 90% and above our internal goal of also 90%.

Equally importantly we trained 244 EMTs last fiscal year (2% increase from previous year) and YTD we are at a 93% pass rate. We currently have 80 students enrolled in the summer semester. Pass rate stats are also consistent for all program sites suggesting program adherence is relatively good.

We have several new instructors and approximately 10 candidates in process - including a couple in our Teacher > EMT Instructor program.

We just got approved for MAVO Transport Oxygen training! This program can be used in lieu of the ASHI Emergency Oxygen program for training attendants of MAVs to transport oxygen patients. Reciprocity is available for CPR/First Aid and other instructors.

New Quarter - New Stats!

Out of 210 graduating EMT students in 2023, 91% passed NREMT the first time and 94% passed on subsequent attempts. This is 1 point over our goal of 90% first time pass rate. Sadly the NREMT no longer provides topic area performance so we can't see strengths and weaknesses of exam takers.
