I was at the Saukville Wal-Mart Wednesday night and had a nice lengthy talk with Carol (Rae) Reineke. She was driving around the store in one of the electric scooters and she assured me she was not the one in the news that was driving around the parking lot with wine in a Pringles can. HAHA!

It is with great sadness that I post the loss of Jim Broetzmann's mom, Elvira. She was also Jacki (Prinsen) Voskuil's aunt. She passed away yesterday as the result of an auto accident. CLASS REUNION UPDATE!!! Please join your classmates UPSTAIRS at the Milwaukee Ale House on Saturday August 23rd any time between 6-11pm. We were not able to guarantee a private room, but would still like to invite everyone for good food, good drinks and great company. EVERYONE WILL BE ON THEIR OWN FOR FOOD & DRINKS. The bracelet option is no longer available. If you already submitted a check, it will be returned that evening. We hope this is better for everyone and makes for a bigger reunion!

Our class reunion is quickly approaching and responses are coming in! If you have already sent in your RSVP with your money, THANK YOU! If you haven't and you are still planning to attend, please be sure to mail your check by August 13th. We need to receive the money in advance in order to pay our bill.

We have received several questions regarding the cost of the reunion. We have a minimum we have to meet at the restaurant, so we really need everyone to pay the cost of the reunion, even if you cannot be there the entire night. We are having food stations instead of a buffet. You will have lots of food options to choose from and it is not just appetizers.

The cost is $30 per person in advance. If you miss the deadline but care to join us the night of the reunion, you can pay $35 per person at the door. You also have the option of a drink bracelet for another $32 per person (unlimited drinks from 6pm-10pm). The drink bracelet either be purchased in advance or at the door.

Bob Abicht passed early Sunday morning. His Visitation and Memorial Service will be Friday, 1 August from 4-7 P.M. at Wenig Funeral Home, Oostburg,WI.
