Today our President Christine Candarella along with Joe Dedalonis co-chair of our LAT Committee were in West Caldwell making connections for the upcoming midterm elections with Congresswoman Analilia Mejia and Congressman Hakim Jefferies .

Our 2nd VP Keith Hinton and Josh Goldfarb President of West Orange EA shared a moment at NJEA Summer Leadership Conference this past week.

It’s Summer time and our members and executive leadership team are taking time out from their Summer Break learning how to be stronger advocates for their locals, school and community at the NJEA Jack Bertolino Summer Leadership Conference.

Congratulations to our 2027 Essex County ESP of the Year Dwight Holmes 🎉

Dwight, a paraprofessional in the Orange Public School District, also holds several leadership positions. He serves as the vice president of Orange EA, ECEA parliamentarian, and a member of the NJEA Constitution Review Committee.

We are looking forward to celebrating Dwight and our ESPs in November at our celebration dinner.

Last week our President Christine Candarella along with Joe Dedalonis made a visit, as part of their role on the NJEA Congressional Contact Committee to Washington DC. They met with our elected leaders and had conversations around the issues important to us.

Tonight we held our annual at Turtle Back Zoo! We were ecstatic to see members come together with family and friends to enjoy a ☀️ Summer evening to explore and see the animals.
