After 116 incredible years, we say goodbye to Cedar Valley Elementary with grateful hearts.

For generations, this school has been more than a building — it has been a home filled with learning, laughter, friendship, tradition, and love. The memories made here and the lives touched within these walls will continue far beyond this final school year.

Thank you to every student, family, staff member, and community member who helped make Cedar Valley so special. Your stories, support, and spirit are the legacy of this school.

Though this chapter is ending, the heart of Cedar Valley will live on forever. 💙

Tomorrow is our last day of school and it will be a minimal day from 9:15–10:45 AM.

Join us for our final closing Flag Ceremony at 10:30 AM in front of the old school building by the flag pole, followed immediately by our Farewell Clap Out Tunnel as we cheer our students, staff, and families out one last time. Parents, families, alumni, and community members are all invited to come celebrate and help us send off this special chapter together.

Join us for our final Dance Festival at Cedar Valley Elementary School on Wednesday, May 20th at 11:00 AM! We’re excited to celebrate our students. Families are invited to come enjoy a fun morning of music, movement, and school spirit as we make one more special memory together.

Following the Dance Festival, families are welcome to stay for a Family Picnic beginning at 11:50 AM. We hope you can join us for this special celebration!

While we’re saddened by this chapter coming to a close, we’re incredibly grateful for the memories, friendships, and traditions we’ve built together. Let’s make this final Spirit Week one to remember—full of pride, joy, and a little extra fun as we look ahead to all the good the future holds. 💙

Join us for our Learning Fair on Thursday, April 30th from 5:00–6:30 PM!

Come celebrate all the amazing learning happening at our school. Musical performances from each grade will begin at 5:30 PM in the gym. After the performances, families are invited to walk through the school and explore student work from every class.

We’d love to see you there!

Save the Date!
We invite you to join us on May 11th from 4:00–7:00 PM for a special open house to celebrate our school and the memories we’ve shared here. This will be open house style so come when you can to see former teachers and friends, enjoy some light refreshments and get a Cedar Valley T-shirt.

We hope you’ll stop by to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate all the memories we’ve made together.

We’re diving back in after spring break with a FIN-tastic week of fun! 🦈🎉 Join us April 13th–17th for “Shark Week” with themed dress-up days and special activities at recess each day. This is a fun way to get back into the school routine and keep the excitement going as we head into the final weeks of the school year. We can’t wait to see everyone back and ready to make a splash! 💙
