Just heard this girl (much older now) singing at a bar last night. I love how she explains singing up the octave at the end of the song way back in 1st grade. Now she’s 14 and has her drivers permit! Time flies.

Lincoln Student Bands perform TODAY at River Place Plaza (between Hurts and Urban Pie). It is going to be a fantastic day to support Lincoln bands (and other Cedar Valley "rock" bands). Georgeous weather, beautiful friendly people, showcasing learning, downtown atmosphere, food, raffles. All proceeds support SpectrumProject.org (held at Lincoln). Mandy Harvey

It was another fantastic Opus experience today. Dr. Svec was incredible, the music choices perfect, and the kids had a great experience. We were sad to miss Frances due to illness but her chair got a shout out by Dr. Svec when she borrowed the empty chair. "Thank you number two!" Congratulations to all Opus singers. I loved it!
