Please help us in welcoming our new Research & Compliance Administrator Brian Warby!
Brian joins us from within UNI where he currently teaches as an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Political Science. With a background in academic research and managing compliance, Brian will serve as the Institutional Review Board (IRB) Administrator where he will be responsible for the regulatory review of research proposals and managing the university IRB committee and office including all aspects of human and animal research matters on campus. He will also serve as assistant to the Research Integrity Officer by assisting with management and facilitation for the process for investigating research misconduct.
Other responsibilities will include:
Managing UNI's conflict of interest disclosure process, serving as Research and Sponsored Program's point of contact for managing UNI's compliance with the CHIPS, Science Act Research Security, and Export Control regulations, and working with the Preaward Team to develop and advance research initiatives.
