Frank and Dale from the CF LIONS Club stopped in with a surprise today. They brought a certificate and $25 check 💰to this 8th grader. Her beautiful artwork earned 2nd place 🥈in all of Cedar Falls! We are so proud!

It’s conference week and that means the BOOK FAIR is here! Visit the book fair during conferences from 2-6:30 PM on Wednesday (today) and 2-5:30 PM on Thursday. (If you are here after that you’ll be recruited to help pack up 😀😳😂). Stock up on books to read over spring break!

If you’d like to purchase a book for a classroom, it’s a little different this time. We have a list and we will order the book. You pay for the book now, and we will put your name in it and send it to the right room when it comes in!

Have no fear...Monday Morning Prayer is here! Thank you to Mrs. Schmitz and her class for recording prayer for us. We enjoyed our late start due to the snow but missed gathering together!

Today we had our out-of-uniform day with donations going to the Catholic Services Relief for Ukraine humanitarian efforts. We collected over $950. That's an awesome amount raised for 1 out-of-uniform day!

Why the flowers? The sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine. 🌻

One of our student jobs is a position on the Gratitude Group. In Leader in Me terminology we could also call them “bucket fillers.” The group led this effort to show ❤️ and appreciation for our bus drivers. Representatives of the team got to share the love today!

🌎 👉Check out these super creative recycled art projects! Clover Parch preschoolers have been learning how to reuse ♻️ things instead of throwing them away and how recycling helps our earth stay clean.

Students were so creative in coming up with their own ideas. Later this week they will be planting flower seeds to celebrate Earth Day. :)

Third and fourth graders took a field trip to the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center today. The Stinky Cheese Man & Other Fairly Stupid Tales, part of the KALEIDOSCOPE SERIES, brought
a host of familiar fairytale characters to life!
