Our first Charger Friday of the year is happening tomorrow Friday, August 28th! This means you can wear uniform bottoms paired with either a St. Patrick or Columbus top.

Happy Birthday to Mr. Leyden! Mr. Leyden is a student teacher from Wartburg College who will be working with Mr. Baird this fall.

Just a friendly reminder to sell those Football Bash tickets! Each family is asked to sell 15 Football Bash tickets- ask your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, even your fantasy football league! All you have to do is sell the tickets- the school will handle the rest, including notifying you if you're a winner. It's an easy and fun way to have a chance at winning some cash while supporting our school!

It was great to see all the bright smiles and excitement yesterday from our students, families, and staff at our Backpack Day! We enjoyed reconnecting with our returning students and welcoming all of our new ones. We can't wait for an amazing new year of learning and growth!

We are continuing our new staff introductions with Melanie Mastin, who will be the marketing coordinator and the 3rd/4th grade aide. Melanie attended both Loras College and UNI where she majored in Psychology. She most recently worked at Cedar Falls High School and is excited to be part of a small, Catholic based school. When not working, Mrs. Mastin enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with family. She currently lives in Waterloo with her husband and daughter, who will be in first grade at St. Pat's this year. Mrs. Mastin is looking forward to helping students learn, supporting our teachers, and helping to share our St. Pat's community.
