Educators wrapped up the final day of a three-day STEM Scale-Up training in FIRST Tech Challenge in Cedar Falls! 🤖 After three days of hands-on learning, collaboration, and problem-solving, they're ready to bring exciting robotics experiences and new STEM opportunities to students this fall. We can't wait to see the impact they'll make!

Requesting exhibitors for the HEALTHCARE CAREER PATHWAY DAY on September 29 in Dubuque.

The Dubuque Community Schools, in partnership with the Northeast Iowa Regional STEM Advisory Council, invite healthcare organizations, businesses, and community partners to exhibit on September 29 during the Healthcare Career Pathway Day. Exhibitor registration deadline is September 1.

This event will provide high school students with the opportunity to explore healthcare careers, educational pathways, and industry trends through direct interaction with professionals. To ensure an engaging experience, all exhibitors are asked to provide a hands-on activity, demonstration, or interactive learning experience that introduces students to your profession, organization, or area of expertise. The Computer Science Professional Development Incentive Fund (CSPDIF) Grant is open to all public districts and accredited non-public schools. There are two programs within the CSPDIF Grant: the Endorsement program and the Professional Development program. Both of these programs function on a reimbursement basis.

The Endorsement program is set up to help teachers obtain their Computer Science Endorsement by reimbursing the tuition and associated costs incurred through the programming. The deadline for this program is May 31, 2027 and it has a rolling approval window. The Endorsement program functions on a first-come, first-served basis until the funds are allocated.

The Professional Development program was created to provide districts with the funds needed to implement quality computer science professional learning. The deadline for the Professional Development program is Nov. 1, 2026. Award notifications from this competitive grant will go out in December.
