In the 90s and early 2000s UNI held a “New Student Bash” during welcome week before school started to help students ease into the school year and feel more comfortable fitting in. Cole, who gave the book to the Special Collections and University Archives at Rod Library. Also notable is the photographer William Veatch, who was known for his early photography of UNI, Cedar Falls, and Waterloo.
