We stand with the Cornell Jane Doe and with every survivor of r**e and sexual violence.

As the survivor seeks justice, this moment reminds us of our responsibility to speak up when we see warning signs and help prevent sexual violence.

How can we better equip all bystanders to recognize harmful behaviors and take action?

Like everything, people need to learn and be provided the tools to step in, support someone who may be experiencing or causing harm, and help create communities where sexual violence is not ignored or accepted.
