Room 23 hit the ground running for the first week of school! 🏎️💨 Between mastering new routines, tackling daily tasks, and taking our Literacy Block outdoors, our students still found time to build a model IndyCar, explore the Sensory Room, and creating new friendships.

What was once a 60-year-old, non-functioning pool is being completely transformed into something extraordinary for our students!

For the past 9 months, an incredible amount of work has happened behind the scenes —demolition, new flooring, electrical, plumbing, structural improvements, and specialized steel framing have transformed this space into a blank canvas with a BIG future.

And this is only the beginning! 🙌

This winter, the Raider Room will become a state-of-the-art sensory space featuring:

✅️Climbing & play lofts
✅️Sensory slides & integrated sensory walls
✅️Overhead swings
✅️High-density safety mats & soft landing zones

Nine months of transformation. One incredible space. A BIG impact for our students.

We are so grateful to the donors and partners who believed in this vision and helped make it possible. ❤️🖤

Available during conferences and Back-to-School Night, this new addition gives staff and visitors convenient snack options while providing our students with hands-on, real-world job training!

Through managing and stocking the machine, students will build essential life and career skills—like money management, customer service, inventory, and teamwork.

How you can help:
