This week, we’re talking about shoulder pain. A lot of people have it, but how do we fix it?🤔
Typically, there are 3 common causes of shoulder pain. The good news is that most shoulder injuries we see aren’t major.
In fact, most of them can be improved. In many cases, modifying movements, strengthening the muscles that support the joint, and improving mobility can help you continue making progress while allowing the shoulder to calm down.
If your shoulder pain is severe, follows a traumatic injury, causes significant weakness, numbness, or prevents you from using your arm normally, it’s important to be evaluated by a healthcare professional. But for many mild, nagging aches, improving strength and movement quality can make a big difference.
