Round 3 of the Chemurgy 2.0 Education and Workforce Development Seed Funding is now open. We welcome Iowa educators, researchers, nonprofits, and community partners to apply for up to $50,000 to create engaging, classroom-ready learning experiences that connect students to real-world science and career pathways in biomanufacturing. Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis, with projects required to conclude by July 31, 2027.

STEM campers get to do exciting activities in their home department labs and they get to see amazing places on campus like the Botanical Center!

We love it when people love visiting us!!
We have had so many visitors all last week and this week - general visiting public, summer camp’s, orientation groups, prospective students etc .
This beautiful, larger than life thank you note was from a University of Northern Iowa STEM Summer Camp!
We showed them the birds, bearded dragon, carnivorous plants, sensitive plants and other cool plants here at the center.
You should stop in too, we’d love to see you!!
