This week's featured service is Let's Talk! Let’s Talk is a confidential space for support and problem solving with a trained graduate student. The purpose of this program is to offer students a relaxed, informal space to discuss their concerns and well-being.

This week's featured service is Gynecological Services. In the video you will see April explain how a pap smear is collected. Along with pap smears, medical providers at the Student Health Center can also answer questions or treat your gynecological concerns including irregular periods, abnormal vaginal discharge, or STI concerns/exposure. Call us at 319-273-2009 to schedule your appointment.

Stop by one of our Flu Vaccine Clinics to get your flu shot for the season! Flu Vaccine Clinics are open to students and employees of UNI. You can also receive your vaccine at the Student Health Center if you are unable to make it one of the clinics.

Please call the Student Health Center at 319-273-2009 if you have any questions.

*The Student Health Center will file a claim with your health insurance or the cost of the flu vaccine is $50 for students without insurance.

Happy Friday! This week's Featured Service is Physical Exams. The Student Health Center can help you complete needed physical exams for work, class, internships, etc. We can also provide tuberculosis screening and an updated list of your immunizations. In the video you will see Amy Thurm, one of our Nurse Practitioners, give a glimpse of this service we provide.

Call us at 319-273-2009 to schedule your physical exam appointment. We are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm.

Visit the Mindful Space at the Student Health Center for a peaceful and cool place to get out of the heat. The Mindful space is directly to the right when you enter the building. No need to stop and talk to anyone. Just come on in and take a seat. You are more than welcome to work on homework or just hangout on your phone. We are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm.
