AtmaJyoti.org: 2004
New site ocoy.org: 2012 Original Christianity is the basic, classical teachings of Sanatana Dharma, the Eternal Dharma, which were taught by Jesus, who was a missionary to the West of the spiritual vision of India, and the empowering and transformi

ng rituals instituted by Jesus and known as Sacraments that were meant to accomplish outside India what the traditional samskaras and spiritual initiations (diksha) accomplished for those living in India. It was the earliest form of Vedanta for the West.

“All the religions of the world have come into existence through the will of God, and all will cease to exist through His will. But the religion of India will never cease to exist, for it alone is the Sanatana [Eternal] Dharma.” Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa

(See The Christ of India, The Apostle of India and The Yoga of the Sacraments posted on https://ocoy.org.) Original Yoga was divinely revealed to the Nath Yogi Sampradaya begun by Matsyendranath and Goraknath, of which both Patanjali and Jesus (Sri Ishanath) were members. Both of these–Original Christianity and Original Yoga–are to be found in the eleven major Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and we believe are the only authentic Christianity.

“A cheerful person is a true public benefactor. He gladdens the hearts of all. There is no friend like cheer. The contagion of cheer has wonderful effects. It transforms depression into brightness, sickness into health. A cheery word gives joy to others.”

Judgemental? No. Clear seeing. Discerning. Which is what we should be.

Lalleshwari's full Vakh:
I will weep and weep for you, O Mind;
The world has caught you in its spell
Though you cling to them with the anchor of steel,
Not even the shadow of the things you love
will go with you when you are dead.
Why then have you forgotten your own true Self?

Matri Vani means “Mother’s Speech” — a collection of sayings of Anandamayi Ma, drawn from letters written to spiritual aspirants. In this new series, Swami Nirmalananda Giri offers brief, practical commentaries on these sayings, showing how Ma’s words can guide daily spiritual life.

In this introductory talk, Swamiji begins with one of Ma’s profound statements:

“All this which is His creation is under His dispensation, in His presence, and is He.”

Swamiji explains that every experience, every object, and every moment exists in the presence of God. We are not isolated beings floating apart from Reality; we are living in God at all times. The task of spiritual life is to awaken to the living presence of the Self within the Greater Self.
