Hawk 🦅 Camp 2026 was 💙HAWK-tastic💙!!

Thank you to the amazing kiddos for coming in and getting to know our campus and their new classmates.

Thank you to the parents for coming in to learn about our expectations and setting their 6th graders up for success.

So many of our Hawk educators were 💙impressed💙 with these incoming 6th graders. We can’t wait to see our new 🦅Hawks🦅 next week.

🎉 Calling All Incoming 6th Grade Hawks! Join Us for 6th Grade Hawk Camp! 🦅
We are excited to welcome our newest Hawks to Creekside Middle School! We invite all incoming 6th grade students and their parents/guardians to attend our Back-to-School 6th Grade Hawk Camp.
📅 Date: Saturday, August 8
⏰ Time: 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

What to Expect
For Parents/Guardians (8:30–11:00 a.m.)
Parents will attend an informational session with the campus administrators to learn about the upcoming school year, campus expectations, student supports, and important information to help your child have a successful transition to middle school.
• English Session: Cafeteria
• Spanish Session: Band Hall
For Students (8:30–11:00 a.m.)
Students will be guided to the auxillary gym and participate in a fun and engaging campus tour where they will:
• Meet staff members
• Become familiar with the campus
• Learn important school procedures
• Participate in activities that will help them feel confident and prepared for their first day of school
At the conclusion of Hawk Camp, students will reunite with their parents to:
• Pick up their class schedules
• Sign up for district device insurance
We look forward to meeting our newest Hawks and helping your family prepare for an exciting school year at Creekside Middle School. We can't wait to see you there

Track Your Child's Bus with My Ride K-12! 🚍

Never wonder where the bus is again! With Traversa My Ride K-12, Bastrop ISD families can track their student's bus in real time using GPS technology. Please note that this is a new platform compared to previous years.

With the My Ride K-12 app, you can:
• See your student's bus location
• View bus stop and pickup/drop-off times
• Receive notifications about delays or bus changes
• Contact the Transportation Department with questions

Getting Started is Easy!
➡️ Download My Ride K-12 from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
➡️ Create an account (or sign in if you already have one).
➡️ Select Bastrop ISD.
➡️ Add your student using their Student Number and Family ID, found in Skyward under Student Information.
