It’s that time of year again!! Starting tomorrow (8/5) the CFHS officer team will be out in the community to obtain sponsorships! If you see the kids out and about be sure to stop and say hello!

Your sponsorships allow us to host fun chapter meetings & FFA events, attend leadership conferences, attend competitions, attend state conventions and so many other activities throughout the year!

FFA Camp & State Convention Recap! 🌟

What an incredible summer in Raleigh and White Lake! Our students had an unforgettable time making memories, growing as leaders, and representing our chapter.

A huge thank you to our sponsors and everyone who donated to help make these experiences possible. Your generosity allows our students to attend events like FFA Camp and State Convention, creating opportunities they’ll remember for years to come. We couldn’t do it without your support!

The NC To***co Trust Fund Commission SAE Institute is coming to the University of Mount Olive July 20–24! Students (ages 15 and older) & ag teachers will experience hands-on agricultural tours and leadership development all week long.
•Overnight stay for students is provided

•Students will need their FFA Membership ID & Chapter ID to apply

A week ago, our Jr. Dairy Evaluation team and Sr. Equine Evaluation team represented Cape Fear at States.

Mrs. B couldn’t be more proud of this group. Many of these students stepped into FFA competitions for the very first time, taking on new challenges with determination. One member wrapped up her final competition feeling a true sense of accomplishment, and several others pushed themselves to confidently deliver oral reasons…no small feat.

Those early mornings and long days aren’t easy, but moments like these make it all worthwhile. 🐮🏅🐴

Last night we were pleased to celebrate 27 wonderful seniors who graduated from the Academy of Agriculture & Natural Sciences! Over the last 4 years these students have taken 5+ agricultural courses with one having to be a level 2, maintained a high GPA, participated in various community service activities and completed several work-based learning hours! These students have worked so hard the last 4 years and we are so proud of each and every one of them!
Recipients of our special awards—
Highest GPA in Ag courses- Hunter Matthews, 4.3 GPA
Most Community Service Hours- Billie Faith Fulcher, 72 hours
Most Ag Classes Taken- Mason Canady, 8 courses

A great day for state competitions! Today we had members compete in state Poultry judging as well at state Truck driving! Of course we had to stop for ice cream before heading home! Enjoy the annual off guard pics!
