Ethan and I break down one of the regs every pilot needs to know cold: FAR 91.211, oxygen requirements. 🎥

Here's the quick version, above 12,500 ft MSL up to 14,000 ft, you need supplemental oxygen after 30 minutes. Above 14,000 ft, the crew is required to use it the whole time. And above 15,000 ft, every occupant needs oxygen available, not just the crew.

Living where we do, this one is very significant.

Southern Utah's terrain pushes you toward higher cruising altitudes on cross-countries, so knowing exactly when the rule kicks in isn't just a checkride question, it's real decision-making in the airplane.

Conversations like this are exactly how we train. Not just memorizing numbers, but understanding why they exist and when you'll actually use them.
